Hello! My name is Bojan Debeljakovic.

I am a system-minded Game Designer who aims to build clear, intuitive and satisfying gameplay experiences and systems. I bring a strong artistic sensibility to my work, blending UI, animation and visual polish to create games that feel expressive and player-friendly. As an avid gamer myself I put UX above everything else.

A little bit of my story

I’m a passionate game developer with a lifelong connection to technology, having explored both hardware and software since the age of 13. Now 38, I bring a success‑driven mindset, a love for problem‑solving, and a constant pursuit of better solutions to every project I touch.

I graduated from Wrexham, UK in 2026 with a degree in Game Development, where I led small teams and navigated everything from game design and art direction to UI/UX and project management. Being curious about the industry I have explored hand‑drawn digital art in Photoshop (which is mind blowing!), 3D modelling in Maya and Mudbox, texturing in Substance Painter, and video editing in DaVinci Resolve.
Throughout my professional life I have developed various skills, but most recent and most relatable to Game Development are eight years I spent working in a computer and laptop repair shop, which sharpened my troubleshooting instincts and cemented my passion for solving complex challenges.
As a gamer, I enjoy a wide range of genres—from MOBAs like League of Legends and FPS titles like Counter‑Strike 2 and Battlefield series to RPGs such as Hogwarts Legacy, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the Division series, and Elden Ring, with occasional returns to giants like World of Warcraft.

Out in the real World I’m also a sports enthusiast and mountain‑biking addict, which naturally extends into my love for playing Mavrix and FC series.
Balancing life as a parent of two young kids and being a gamer for over 30 years has made me an efficient multitasker, always eager to learn, grow, and push my craft to the next level.

Extinguish

is the very first attempt creating a Serious Game with a goal of educating its players about various fire hazard types and how to overcome them.

El Diavolo

is a Mobile Tech Demo that sets a player in a blend of 2D and 3D World played from Top-down perspective, in this (currently) single quest action game.

Eternal

is very ambitious project that turned out to be a almost a Vertical Slice. It is meant to be Soulslike, Roguelike ARPG that allows player to conquer various enemies and bosses set in different dungeons/environments. Upon each run, player will end in Hub area where he can purchase consumables and new items before embarking onto a new adventure.

What am I all about?

Code

I strongly believe that code needs to be clear, readable and reusable. Planning projects beforehand thoroughly might take a bit of time before getting hands on, but it will pay out in the long run!

Gameplay / UX

Games need to be entertaining above all. Repetitivness, broken mechanics and lazy solutions do not have slot in my tool bag. I strive to make games that I'd enjoy playing too!

Feedback

As an avid gamer myself, there were many times in past 30 years I wished certain game devs would take onboard what community wanted out of their game, but instead they went their way and ruined their own titles. I strongly believe that building games is collaborative process including future playerbase!
