El Diavolo

Engine: Unreal Engine 4.27

El Diavolo was a learning project meant to introduce me to mobile game development as well as paper 2D methods in Unreal Engine 4.27.

During its development I have encountered several different tasks, some of which for the very first time:

  • Simple Main Menu System - Created using Blueprints and UMG (Unreal Motion Graphics)
  • Introduction to Paper 2D methods - Created using Blueprints
  • Hand Drawn Logo - Created using Adobe Photoshop
  • Hand Drawn UI and Menu Art - Created using Photoshop
  • First attempt on creating a Quest system (this version includes only one quest)
  • Collectibles Counter - Created using Blueprints
  • Closest Target Lock On System - Created using Blueprints

Why does this project stand out?

Becase this project was the very first attempt creating a Mobile game tech demo and as such was also the first time I tried creating few systems like Quest and Sticky Targeting system.
